The book “Canci\u00f3n Andaluza<\/strong>“, transcribed by guitarist David Leiva<\/strong>, was published on the tenth anniversary of the death of Paco de Luc\u00eda<\/strong>.<\/div>\n

The Algeciras guitarist’s deep connection with the copla, which marked his childhood, is reflected in his latest album, released posthumously in 2014 as a tribute to the sounds that influenced him from an early age.<\/div>\n

In this album, Paco de Luc\u00eda puts his distinctive stamp on eight classics of the Spanish copla, mostly composed by the poet Rafael de Le\u00f3n. These classics retain their original essence and revitalize the sentimental memory associated with them. This album constitutes a flamenco reinterpretation of intrinsically related music. “Canci\u00f3n Andaluza” definitively embraces the fusion between copla and flamenco.<\/div>\n
