Description
In this work, Enrique Vargas explores the most important forms of Cuban musical heritage – Tumbaos – from the perspective of the bassist Dany Noel.
In the first part, analyzes a very traditional way of playing these forms.
In the second part, analyzes the tumbaos from the much more sophisticated perspective of a modern Cuban and Latin jazz bass player as Dany Noel.
The third part consists of Dany Noel compositions, which utilize an amazing blend of tradition and innovation and are composed with impeccable
taste and elegance, aside from brilliant virtuosity.
All Tumabaos scores, in notation and tablature, and audio are included.
