The guitar voice is written in notation and tablature, for the accompaniment and falsetas. In some themes, the second voice of the guitar and electric bass is transcribed. Every chord of the accompaniment is indicated, so that it can be used by another instrumentalist or to create our own accompaniment.
The guitars that accompanied Camarón are Paco de Lucía and Ramón de Algeciras
Given the impossibility of being able to write each and every one of the characteristic melismas found in the melodies, since the quarter tones cannot be noted, it has been decided to indicate the tones and semitones.
Capturing Camarón’s genius on a pentagram is impossible; these transcriptions are a musical orientation made from the utmost respect and admiration for such an important figure in the world of flamenco.
